Randy Elmer is a leader in the litigation team at Kryger, Alexander, Egan, & Elmer, P.C. With 17 years of experience in Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, Social Security Disability, and Employment Discrimination cases, Randy has been a great addition to the firm since he joined in June 1995. He became a shareholder less than a year later in April 1996. Randy manages the firm's Salem office and frequently meets with clients in the Newport office.
Randy was born in Bozeman, Montana and he has lived in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. After two and one half years of college at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, Randy moved to Salem, Oregon to attend Willamette University in 1977. He loved Oregon and decided to stay. Randy received his Bachelor's degree from Willamette University in 1980. He was immediately admitted to the Willamette University College of Law where he earned the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1983. He is admitted to the Oregon Bar Association and he is certified to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.
Randy is active in the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. He recently finished a three year term as President of the Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys which is an organization of attorneys dedicated to preserving the rights of injured workers. Randy is also very active in Oregon politics. He spends countless hours at the Oregon Legislative Assembly lobbying, testifying, and otherwise pursuing the rights of injured people.
Randy and his wife, Sharon, live in Stayton, Oregon. They have five sons and three grandchildren. Randy and Sharon enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling.
